I am always thrilled to be challenged to learn new things.
I am currently learning Rust language. It is a challenging language that comes with some innovative concepts. I am learning it because I want to gain a deeper understanding about concurrency.
I came to US as a Molecular Biology researcher in Oregon Health Science University (OHSU). In OHSU, I identified more than 50 gene mutations that related to neonatal diabetes.
I joined a gene testing lab and helped them developed 6 clinical testing assays. Along the way, I spent more and more time working with data. Eventually I found a job in Kaiser Permanente data warehouse team, helping them maintain ETL processes and developing new databases.
